Notes Attendee's will receive a Crack the Code Kit to keep at the end of the workshop as well as some classroom resources
Workshop Brief

The Little Bird Electronics “Introduction to Crack the Code with Lucy" workshop is specifically designed for you, the teachers! Our technical support team have been working closely with Lucy, an awesome secondary Teacher who will be guiding you in the workshop.

You will be introduced to the Crack the Code Kit with no prior knowledge of the hardware or software required. Just bring yourself and your laptop and we will take it from there!

By the end of the day, you will:

  • Be able to unpack and identify the hardware in the Crack the Code Kit

  • Be familiar with some of the more commonly used terminology

  • Confidently write pseudocode and simple sketches

  • Understand (and be able to use) inputs and outputs

  • Apply the above to various basic projects/tasks

Complete this one-day workshop and you will be well on your way to understanding the new curriculum requirement for Digital Technologies.
