Upgrade your QT Py or Xiao dev board with the Adafruit DC Power BFF Add-On! This innovative add-on allows you to power your board with up to 20V DC, making it perfect for projects that require more power. The MPM3610 integrated buck converter generates 5V from the input, with no need for a heat sink. With a 1 Amp output, you'll have plenty of power for LEDs, WiFi connectivity, displays, and even small motors or servos.
Featuring a 3.5mm terminal block and 2.1mm DC jack inputs, this add-on is designed for convenience and versatility. Use either input to power the board, or use the terminal block as a 'pass-through output' for other high-voltage devices. The Schottky diode provides protection for both inputs, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
For added convenience, there are solderable pads for an external switch to disable the converter. And with two 7-pin socket headers included, you can easily plug in your QT Py or Xiao dev board for a secure connection.
