This cable looks like a USB micro cable but it isn't! Instead of a USB A Plug, it has a USB A Socket on the end. This cable is designed for use with OTG (On the Go) host devices (like the Arduino Due or many tablets) so you can connect a mouse, keyboard, or any other USB device. You'll still need to have drivers on the device, this cable is just a cable and contains no microcontroller or electronics inside.

Approximately 6" long from end to end.
Note: We stock both black and white versions of this cable.  While they are functionally identical, we cannot control which version you'll receive.

The USB OTG Host Cable - MicroB OTG male to A female appears in the following collections:

PI Zero Essential Accessory

I have two of these cables, and use them with a Pi Zero to connect a keyboard and mouse. My first Pi blew up, before I bought the cable; so I think every Pi Zero used as a desktop really needs one.

My first Pi Zero died when I found a cable like this with a right angle connector. That bent the power lead and the Pi stopped working. Buy one for your Zero, even if it is only to plug in a keyboard long enough to do updates. It's cheaper than regularly replacements, and faster than waiting for delivery of new devices.
